Punjab Government School, Hamidi gets eighth position in 12th cl

Barnala: Mandeep Kaur, a student of Government Senior Secondary School, Hamidi, has secured the eighth position in Merit in the Class XII results declared by the Education Department. 

In this regard, the Education Minister, Punjab Gurmeet Singh Meet Hair, Deputy Commissioner, Barnala Haris Nair, and District Education Officer, Sarabjit Singh Toor congratulated the student Mandeep Kaur, her parents, the school in charge, and staff.

During the special program organized by the school, Deputy DEO Madam Harkanwaljit Kaur honored Mandeep Kaur and said that we are proud of our daughter who has made her place in the district, as well as her, outlined the name of parents, teachers, and the school at Punjab level. He said that this girl is also a source of inspiration for other students. He said that school girl Mandeep Kaur would get full support from the district education office. School Incharge Ramandeep Singh said that the children are educated day and night by their staff and the result speaks. 

He said that Mandeep Kaur belonged to a very poor family whose parents were farm laborers and earned their living by working in the fields along with their three children. 

He said that on the day this girl’s name came up in Merit, this daughter was also planting paddy in the field. He said that this daughter is a beacon for other children. Student Mandeep Kaur said that she got a lot of support from her teachers and parents in continuing her studies. She said she wanted to serve society by becoming an honest IAS officer. Principal Rajinderpal Singh, Dalbir Singh, Sakuntala Devi, Baljit Singh, Gurcharan Kaur, Palwinder Singh Gaurav Gupta, DM Kamaldeep, Media Coordinator Harvinder Romi, and villagers were present on the occasion.
